Think like an artist, create like a designer
“I have been painting all my life, and I also trained as an Interior Designer in London, England, at the Inchbald School of Design. I invite you to come and share my true passions of painting and of creating one’s own vibrant interior, inspired by art.”
This 5-week watercolor/acrylic class will be taking you from the basics of color theory to applying those fundamental principles to your own creations. You will learn to think like an artist and to see how your creativity can be reflected in your everyday life and even your own home.
While experimenting with letting your inner artist flow out onto the paper, you will be surprised, mesmerized and discover the marvellous world that exists inside of you.
On Saturdays, October 25 to November 22, 2025, From 12:30 to 2:30 pm.

Course Overview

You are discovering the world of colours with a specific approach to the colour wheel, to learn about colour harmonies, temperatures and contrasts, with practical exercises.
You are learning to create art from your own source, and at the same time, you are tuning into the Interior Designer in you and seeing how you can apply your creativity to your home.

Through a piece of art of your own choosing, you are learning the ratio of colours, you are creating a ratio scale that can be your inspiration to redecorate a room in your own home.
You are exploring various shapes and becoming aware of your own response to them. You are tuning in to their relevance to your artwork, and to your own voice that is expressed using paints.

You are invited to work with the elements and explore their meaning to you, individually, using exercises to deepen your connection to them, as a creator.
Having let some of these elements inspire you to paint, it is now time to solidify what moves you in them and extend that creativity into bringing a specific and relevant atmosphere into your home.

You are inspired by your own culture and all its richness, and by your travel experiences. You let yourselves be guided by that precious inner world which makes you an authentic artist even more.
This journey of exploring your very own folklore, artefacts and travel memories inspires you to create a gem like corner of your home which becomes your very individual haven of peace.

As you discover more of the artist in you, you are invited to connect art to music, to instrumentation, dynamics and rhythms. You then witness the paintings that emerge.
One of those paintings belongs in your home, you now are a blossoming artist who is also able to jump into the shoes of a distinctly creative and discerning Interior Designer.
